How Much Does a Balloon Backdrop Cost in Singapore? (2026 Price Guide)

If you are planning a birthday, baby shower, proposal or company event in Singapore, a balloon backdrop is usually the first thing guests see and the spot where every photo is taken. So how much should you budget? Here is a simple guide based on our own packages at BalloonClub, so you know what you get at each price.

Quick answer

Most balloon backdrops in Singapore cost between $350 and $1,000. Simple garland backdrops start from about $350, customised themed backdrops with your wording are around $388 to $988, and large statement pieces with life-size sculptures go above $1,000. At BalloonClub, delivery, setup and dismantle are included for backdrops.

Simple backdrops: $350 to $500

A clean, elegant look with an organic balloon garland on a stand or curtain. Great for small home parties, baby showers and intimate celebrations.

Themed and customised backdrops: $580 to $700

This is the most popular range for kids' birthdays. You choose the theme and balloon colours, and we print your wording on the board, for example "Jocelyn's Onederful" or "Happy Anniversary".

Premium backdrops: $800 and above

Bigger setups with handmade 3D balloon sculptures, extra panels or life-size displays. These make the biggest impact at milestone birthdays, launches and corporate events.

Why a BalloonClub backdrop looks different

Two backdrops can have a similar price and look very different in person and in photos. Here is what goes into ours.

  • Premium Sempertex balloons. Our garlands use Sempertex balloons, made in Colombia. They have rich, even colours, a smooth finish and hold their shape well through your event. Lower-grade balloons can look streaky, fade faster or pop more easily. Sempertex balloons are also made from natural rubber latex, a plant-based material that breaks down naturally over time.
  • Fuller, more elegant garlands. We build our garlands thick and full, mixing large and small balloons so they look lush from every angle. Some setups use slimmer garlands with fewer and smaller balloons to save cost, and the difference shows in photos.
  • Designed from scratch. We do not reuse a standard template. Every themed backdrop is designed for your event, with your theme, colours and wording, so yours will not look like everyone else's.
  • Extra weight for safety. Every backdrop is weighted down so it stays steady and does not topple, even with kids running around or guests leaning in for photos.

What affects the price

  • Size. A wider, taller backdrop needs more balloons and more setup time.
  • Customisation. Printed wording, character cut-outs and 3D balloon sculptures are handmade for your event.
  • Add-ons. Cake tables, plinths, standing flowers and marquee lights can be rented with your backdrop.
  • Outdoor setups. Outdoor backdrops need heavier weights to stay safe in the wind, which is an extra $60.
  • Timing. Very early morning or late-night setups may have a small surcharge.

Tips before you book

  • Book about 2 weeks ahead. Customised boards and sculptures take time to make. For shorter notice, WhatsApp us and we will check.
  • Measure your space. Most of our backdrops are around 3m wide, so check your wall or corner first.
  • Have your wording ready. The name, age and theme are all we need to start your design.
